New 'Spider-Man: No Way Home' TV Spot Confirms Multiple Spider-Men

New 'Spider-Man: No Way Home' TV Spot Confirms Multiple Spider-Men

"Was that a dinosaur?"

Spider-Man: No Way Home's December 15 release date is fast approaching, and Sony is really starting to kick its marketing up a gear. Just a few weeks ago, Spidey fans had to desperately comb over one three minute trailer and a handful of screenshots for clues and teasers. But now the second trailer is out there, and it's led to a flood of new TV spots all containing brand-new footage.

The below ad recently started doing the rounds on TV and social media, and it gives us a better look at some of upcoming movie's major players. We see Happy Hogan (Jon Favreau) attempting to get to the bottom of why Peter Parker (Tom Holland) is suddenly fighting off visitors from other universes. We're also treated to our first line of dialogue from J. Jonah Jameson (J.K. Simmons), who is quite rightly terrified by the roar of The Amazing Spider-Man's imposing Lizard (Rhys Ifans).

Take a look below!

This isn't the only new TV spot that's been released, though. A separate teaser shows Doctor Octopus (Alfred Molina) meeting the MCU's Spider-Man for the first time. He remarks that Spidey's "fancy new suit" won't do him any favours before unmasking the hero and discovering, as per the second trailer, that Holland is "not Peter Parker" - or at least, not the Peter Parker he knows.

It's a fun moment that confirms Ock will believe he's fighting his own universe's Spider-Man, who is of course played by Tobey Maguire. This also properly confirms that there are multiple Spider-Men out there in the universe, and strongly suggests we'll be seeing them before the film's end. And if that's not evidence enough for you, just take a look at who is (or rather, isn't) punching Lizard in the Brazilian No Way Home trailer.

December 15 can't come soon enough, frankly.
