A brand new trailer for the upcoming Uncharted movie, which is set to release early next year, just dropped - and it looks great.
The movie sees the street-smart thief Nathan Drake (played by Tom Holland) recruited by the seasoned treasure hunter Victor “Sully” Sullivan (Mark Wahlberg) to recover a fortune lost by Ferdinand Magellan 500 years ago. Check out the brand-new trailer below...
What begins as just a heist job quickly becomes a globe-trotting race to reach $5 billion in treasure before the ruthless Moncada (Antonio Banderas), who believes he and his family are the rightful heirs. And yes, it clearly features a wealth of callbacks to the games, most notably the third and fourth mainline titles what with that aeroplane sequence and all those pirate ships, not to mention the auction scene. This is a movie where fans of the games are going to have their work cut out spotting all the Easter eggs, we're sure.
Advert
The movie is set to be released exclusively in cinemas on 18 February 2022, so mark your calendars - it's looking like it's going to be a good one.
