If you haven't had enough of the hidden identities game already, Among Us is coming to the Nintendo Switch. Up until now the game created by the small team at InnerSloth had been exclusive to mobile and PC with players pondering if the game will ever reach a console platform.
Well during the most recent Indie World Nintendo Direct, it was announced that indie hit Among Us is coming to the Switch, possibly as a console exclusive. Despite being originally released back in 2018, the game has boomed in popularity as streamers like Disguised Toast and Valkyrae play the game to tends of thousands of viewers regularly. Players around the world have found the development a fantastic way to socialise during the COVID-19 pandemic and haven't stopped playing since Q3 of this year.
So when does the Switch version of the game come out? Well, like, now - it's already there. If you look up Among Us on the Nintendo eShop it'll pop right up ready to purchase. It's even a little cheaper on Switch than it is on Steam, only costing £3.89 (on Steam it's £3.99) so you're not breaking the bank by any means.
The shop description just says, "Play with 4-10 player online or via local WiFi as you attempt to prepare your spaceship for departure, but beware as one or more random players among the Crew are Imposters bent on killing everyone!" - sounds like the Among Us we know and love alright.
