New 'Obi-Wan Kenobi' Teaser Shows Fight With Darth Vader

New 'Obi-Wan Kenobi' Teaser Shows Fight With Darth Vader

It looks like we're mere weeks away from the Sith Lord duelling off against his former Jedi Master once more.

I think it’s safe to say that we’ve all recovered from The Mandalorian’s third season, oh wait - sorry I meant The Book of Boba Fett. With Boba’s fight against the Pyke Syndicate but a distant memory, we’re in dire need of our next Star Wars fix. Well, it’s not long to go until Obi-Wan Kenobi hits our Disney+ sized screens and ever since the show was announced, it’s been a steady stream of revelations. We’re in for a treat folks.

It’s no secret at this stage that Hayden Christensen is returning as Anakin Skywalker / Darth Vader, and he’s not taking this responsibility lightly. The actor lately revealed that he’s been binging both Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels in preparation. The latest Obi-Wan Kenobi teaser offers us our first glimpse at what we might expect when Anakin comes face-to-face with his Jedi Master once more.

If you can't wait for Obi-Wan Kenobi to start, tide yourself over with the the trailer for the show right here.

It goes without saying, there’s going to be some obvious tension. Previous trailers offered a split-second glimpse at a Lightsaber-wielding Vader in action, but a new promotional banner for Obi-Wan Kenobi shows the Sith Lord in a duel with Obi-Wan himself. Take a look below.

It’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for ever since Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith released back in 2005. I have so many questions but perhaps the most important question is, does Obi-Wan still have the higher ground?

In case you missed it, Obi-Wan Kenobi takes place 10 years after Episode III and promises to bridge the gap between Episode III and Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope. A promotional banner may just be the tiniest crumb of a tease but there’s no denying, the force is strong with this one.
