One Of Ryan Reynolds Worst Rated Movies Is Getting A Sequel, Somehow

Now, if you were me, you'd say, "could you be more specific? oh ho ho ho ho" (that's me laughing like Statler and Waldorf from the Muppets). Sure, Reynolds is an amazing Deadpool and his nominations from Critics' Choice Movie Awards and the Golden Globe Awards for his performance are well earned. But let's not act like the guy's got a golden track record. He himself has admitted that he never saw Green Lantern, widely derided as one of the worst superhero movies out here wherein he stars as the titular character, until last year.

Perhaps Reynolds' greatest contribution to art is his ability to act as a barometer to determine how heterosexual your male friends are. What is certain is that he will be contributing nothing to the sequel to R.I.P.D. which was revealed in the weekly release of new film ratings from the Motion Picture Association. A comic book adaptation that met with tepid reviews and grossed only $78 million compared to a $130 million budget, it's a massive surprise that Universal Pictures is gunning for a sequel. Titled R.I.P.D. 2: Rise Of The Damned and intended to be a direct-to-video feature, director Paul Leyden is on board and the cast comprises of Richard Fleeshman, Jake Choi, Kerry Knuppe and Stephanie Levi-John.
