Sadly, Oscar-winning Hollywood star, Alan Arkin has passed away at the age of 89 following heart complications.

Alan Arkin’s acting career began over six decades ago in 1957 as an uncredited role in a movie called Calypso Heat Wave. “Such a wonderful, original voice for comedy. And on the few occasions, I was in his presence, a kind and generous soul,” tweeted Arkin’s Seinfeld co-star, Jason Alexander. “I learned so much from watching him. And the laughs I got from his glorious work seem endless. May he rest well.”
