Hideo Kojima And Gabe Newell Hang Out At Valve Headquarters

When an unstoppable force meets an unmovable object, or something like that.

One can only imagine the things Hideo Kojima and Gabe Newell spoke about when the former dropped in at Valve Studios this week, but sadly we don't have an inside man telling us all the gossip.

Instead, we'll have to settle with a picture the pair took at Valve HQ in Bellevue, Washington. I wonder how many million, no - billions, are in this pic.

Anyway, you're probably wondering why they met up; business or pleasure? We're not sure, but we do know Kojima is currently traversing the world, stopping at the biggest and best video game companies along the way, so who better to visit than the undisputed ruler of PC gaming himself, Lord Gaben?

Did they go for a beer? How about a 1v1 on Rust? Is Kojima persuading Gabe to release Half Life 3? We'd like to imagine it was all three, but it looks like the catch up was short and sweet, similar to his other visits.

Yep, the mastermind behind the Metal Gear series also headed to Pixar, Sucker Punch, and PlayStation on his travels. Lucky sod. I guess he's got a couple minutes spare now he's left Konami.

Well, aside from the work he's doing with Sony to release upcoming brain-buster Death Stranding, the game we know so little about. Could his meeting with Gabe have something to do with the game launching on Steam?

Don't bet on it. These guys are renown for their 'humorous' side, hell, this picture was probably half-taken with the intent of creating fan speculation and media reports. Damn, it worked.

Hopefully we'll find out what the two spoke about (if it's to do with new games, we don't care what they had for lunch), and why Kojima is visiting these companies, considering his close relationship with Sony.

Even if we don't, at least we can enjoy the adorable snap. Look how happy they look! Gaben is human, after all.
