Having already heard a rumour that the previously PlayStation-exclusive open-worlder Horizon Zero Dawn - the subject of regular debate around GBHQ as some consider it a masterpiece, others an enjoyable but flawed 7/10 - would come to PC, we now have evidence, I guess, that it definitely is. Unless it isn't. Is it? We think so!

The French Amazon store has seemingly confirmed the existence, and imminent release, of Horizon Zero Dawn for PC, with a listing that shows the game coming to Windows. At the time of writing the link is live, but in case it gets taken down, we grabbed a screen of it. Look, there it is!

They've used a colon in the game's title, though, so I don't know how seriously I can take this, just yet. Chalk it up to an amateur creating the listing.

Horizon for PC is listed, inevitably, as "currently unavailable". "We don't know when or if this item will be back in stock," says Amazon. But with the PS4 game's initial release being February 28 2017, could its PC version's official announcement be coming on its third anniversary, this Friday? You wouldn't rule it out, would you. Only a fool would do such a thing, and you, you're no fool.

When Horizon Zero Dawn released in 2017, it attracted a raft of critical acclaim, and went on to sell some 10 million copies. Expansion DLC, The Frozen Wilds, was released in November 2017 and remains in my to-play pile, though I very much did finish the main game. Pretty good, I reckon, but left me wanting a prequel rather than a sequel, where we get to actually play through [redacted, good grief Mike, stop with the spoilers].

Guerrilla Games' robo-dinosaurs 'em up, starring the very likeable Aloy as its protagonist, also won itself a few awards, including Best PlayStation Game at the 2017 Golden Joysticks, Outstanding Achievement in Video Game Writing at 2017's Writers Guild of America Awards, and Best Original Property at the 14th video gaming BAFTAs. Good effort, those devs.

If Horizon does indeed head to PC this year, it'll be in good company as previously PlayStation-only games like Detroit: Become Human and Death Stranding are also making the switch in the near future. Could this mean that others, perhaps 2018's God of War, also head the way of the PC market? Don't bet against it. Because again, foolish.
