RiMS Racing, from developer Raceward Studio, is free to play on PC for a limited time so hop to it if you want to give it a whirl.
The free promotional period ties in with the release of the game's official soundtrack by The Bloody Beetroots, and lasts from October 25th to October 27th. Plus, if you can’t get enough of RiMS Racing, the game is 30% off right now on Steam, and the Ultimate Edition has been knocked down to £44. That unlocks the Bahrain International Circuit, Career Pro Starter Pack, European Manufacturers pack, Japanese Manufacturers pack plus nine Nolan X-Lite helmets for your trouble.

Though, if that’s a little daunting, there are a number of assistive features for players who’d like to dip their toes into the game before settling into the nitty-gritty. “Travel the world and enjoy thrilling races on 10 faithfully recreated official circuits,” reads the description for RiMS Racing on Steam. “For those who prefer roads, five routes in the stunning landscapes of the United States, Norway, Australia, Spain and Italy have been recreated for a different racing experience on two wheels!”
