Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order arrives on November 15 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, and you'd best believe that it's gonna be asking a lot of you PC gamers, in terms of system requirements.

EA recently released the recommended specs for the upcoming Star Wars single-player adventure from Respawn Entertainment, and they were... well, they sure were something. Originally, EA advised on its Origin game page that you'd need to be packing at least 32GB of RAM in your rig, which went sent a fair few people into a frenzy.

As multiple publications pointed out, 32GB of RAM is kind of unheard of, with other recent demanding games like Control and Gears 5 topping out at around 16GB. Perhaps sensing they'd made a mistake or been a little overzealous in their RAM recommendation, EA reduced the number to a much more reasonable 16GB. Phew.

Do bear in mind that this is just the recommended RAM. The absolute minimum you'll need, according to EA, is 8GB - though there's no telling exactly how well the game will run on minimum requirements, that's pretty much always the risk we take with lower-end machines. It's our curse, but we make do.

The recommended specs, meanwhile, are fairly high-end all round - but not too nasty on the whole. Anyway, you can check out both the minimum and recommended specs for yourself below.

In Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order you're being hunted by the Second Sister
In Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order you're being hunted by the Second Sister

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is the first single-player narrative driven Star Wars game we've had in quite some time, and it's safe to say that the fans are looking forward to it. We'll take on the role of a Jedi Padawan who narrowly escaped the infamous order to execute all Jedi.

The game combines Metroidvania exploration and combat that combines lightsabers, force abilities, parkour, and even a dash of Dark Souls, as our hero attempts to outrun the Empire, complete his training, and attempt to rebuild his life. I'm gonna level with you: I really, really hope this game doesn't let me down.
