Pedro Pascal Gets Hooked Up To Lie Detector, Has An Altogether Uncomfortable Time

Pedro Pascal was quizzed on Game of Thrones, The Mandalorian, The Last of Us and his heartthrob status.

The internet is divided on a lot of things, but there is one fact we can all agree on. Pedro Pascal is a wholesome angel of a human being. That being said, Vanity Fair recently put Pedro’s wholesomeness to the test during a lie detector interview and the results were incredible.

Had I been in charge of questioning, the questions may have included ‘Is The Last of Us coming to HBO this year?’ and ‘Will we find out who the three jedi are that protected Grogu during Order 66 in season three of The Mandalorian?’ but alas, I was not. However, the folks over at Vanity Fair did ask some pretty entertaining questions.

Speaking of Star Wars, take a look at the latest TV spot for Obi-Wan Kenobi ahead of the upcoming series premiere.

Right off the bat, we learnt that Pedro does in fact know he’s a heartthrob. Though he tried to deny it, the test revealed he was in fact lying. “Yes, I am a heartthrob,” he admitted. Too right Pedro.

The follow up question may just be my favourite. It turns out, Pedro looks at fan accounts “dedicated to him being a heartthrob” when he’s sad. Pedro stans and simps around the world, he’s onto you. Let the meltdowns ensue. He went on to confirm that he also searches his name on Twitter and in fact, thinks he’s a “bigger daddy” than Oscar Isaac declaring, “Daddy is a state of mind.”

Diverting away from that topic, Pedro would not reveal his thoughts on Game of Thrones’ controversial finale but he did share one major truth about The Mandalorian. Grogu has two names and two names only: Grogu and The Child. Baby Yoda was invented by the internet but prepare yourselves folks, because even Grogu’s space dad refers to him as Baby Yoda. Pedro, this is not the way.

If you thought Pedro might divulge a glimmer of info on the upcoming HBO adaptation of The Last of Us, think again. He confirmed he hadn’t beaten the game - “That’s not a skill I’ve developed” - but otherwise silently smiled at the camera. All in all, he had a pretty uncomfortable time but hey, it makes for fun viewing.
