You know that feeling when you find a new favourite actor so you dedicate time to going through their own filmography but then discover they have starred in some questionable things? That’s not the case for Pedro Pascal who has never starred in a show rated less than 89% on Rotten Tomatoes. Impressive!

Unless you have been living under a rock, you will have heard of the actor Pedro Pascal especially as he has been dominating the screen in 2023. Starring as Joel in HBO’s The Last of Us at the start of the year and later as The Mandalorian in, you guessed it, The Mandalorian, Pascal is still perhaps best known for his career-defining role as Oberyn Martell in Game of Thrones.

Check out The Last of Us trailer below!

Pascal has had a monumental role thanks to the colossal success of The Last of Us and the internet weirdly adopting him as ‘Daddy’. So it is perhaps no surprise that the TV adaptation of the much-loved video game became IMDb’s highest-rated show of all time and HBO’s second-largest debut since 2010.

With The Last of Us sitting at a 99% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, Pascal can safely say he has never been part of a show that has scored less than 89% on the film and television review website. Additionally, The Mandalorian comes in at 93%, his stint as Javier Peña in Narcos reaches an equally impressive 89% rating and Game of Thrones comes in at 88% with his most-recognized episode ‘The Mountain and the Viper’ being somewhat of a highlight for the show.

Now that 2024 is fast approaching, fans are excited to see what is next for the actor. According to IMDb, Pascal has nine upcoming projects including The Last of Us season two, Fantastic Four (although this is still just a rumour) and Gladiator 2 amongst others.

Let us just hope he can keep his Rotten Tomatoes winning streak going.
