Peppa Pig Game Has Higher Rating Than New Battlefield, COD, And GTA Combined

You don't mess with Peppa

It's been a topsy-turvy kind of year. Call Of Duty: Vanguard, Battlefield 2042, and GTA: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition were three of the most hotly antipcated releases of 2021. Unfortunately, they all recently released within a few weeks of one another and have fallen well below player expectations.

All three games launched to middling critic reviews and unhappy players who believe that these entries do not represent any of the three franchises at their best. Battlefield 2042 and GTA: The Trilogy have come under particular fire for releasing with a multitude of bugs and other unfortunate issues. These are things that can be fixed in time, but gamers are a reactionary and vengeful sort. A bad launch is never forgotten.

Take a look at some of the funniest GTA: The Trilogy wins and fails below!

This trinity of troubled titles has, rather brilliantly, resulted in an unexpected victor. At the time of writing, Petoons Studio's My Friend Peppa Pig has a better Metacritic user score than the new Call Of Duty, Battlefield, and GTA combined. The dust has settled, and Peppa has emerged the winner of 2021's blockbuster releases.

As first pointed out by Game Rant, the PS4 version of My Friend Peppa Pig currently sits with an impressive user score of 8.5 on Metacritic. Let's do some math, shall we? On the same platform, Call Of Duty: Vanguard has a user score of 4.6. Battlefield 2042 has a measly 2.1. And GTA: The Trilogy? A shocking 0.7. Add those together and you get 7.4. A great day for Peppa. Less so for the other three games.

Of course, it's fair to suggest that My Friend Peppa Pig perhaps didn't have the same weighty expectation on it as Call Of Duty, Battlefield, or GTA, but even so. Shout out to Petoons Studio for taking on three giants of the industry and coming out on top.
