The incredible 9/10 PlayStation 5 exclusive Horizon: Forbidden West is finally coming to Steam next year.

Recently, Sony announced Horizon: Forbidden West The Complete Editon, which will collect the base game, the DLC expansion Burning Shores, and other bonus content into one neat little package.

Bonus features include several in-game outfits for Aloy, more options for poses in the game’s photo mode, a digital artbook and the game’s soundtrack.

With this news also came the announcement the beloved PlayStation 5 exclusive will finally be making its way to PC via Steam, and while a concrete release date hasn’t been shared as of yet, it’s said to launch early next year.

The team who’ll be porting the game to PC will be Nixxes, who hasn’t shared the details on how the game will perform, as well as what technical options will be available for it, like ray tracing.

For those who haven’t played Forbidden West yet, it continues the adventures of Aloy set in the dystopian future of the United States. It boasts arguably one of the most visually stunning open worlds ever created, full of beautiful landscapes, allies and dangers to encounter, and mysteries to uncover, both in the main story and side content.

It was heavily praised for taking full advantage of the PlayStation 5’s hardware, especially the DLC which perfectly expanded the game’s story and world.

A third game is reportedly in development, which continues the story set up in Burning Shores. A live action TV show is also on the way through a collaboration with Netflix.

Horizon: Forbidden West The Complete Edition is available now for PlayStation 5 players, whereas PC players will need to wait until early 2024 to finally get their hands on the game.
