GTA 6 fans have already found a link to Red Dead Redemption 2 in new trailer

GTA 6 fans have already found a link to Red Dead Redemption 2 in new trailer

Could GTA 6 somehow be linked to RDR2? It seems so...

It will surprise no one that GTA fans are analysing every detail of the GTA 6 trailer in a bid to find every scrap of information possible. Much like Saga’s case board in Alan Wake 2, fans are piecing together connections to previous Rockstar titles, with one fan discovering a link between GTA 6 and Red Dead Redemption 2.

Jason is the link here, with his features closely resembling Arthur Morgan's, to the point that one gamer said, “Looks like a distant relative of Arthur.” They also added that this wasn’t a “nerf” in response to a claim that’s doing the rounds after people noted the comparison, with one post saying, “People on X are complaining that Rockstar has nerfed Jason in Grand Theft Auto 6. Reminds me [of] when everyone hated Arthur Morgan and when Red Dead Redemption 2 released everyone loved him.”

Ah yes, with a trailer comes the endless debate over whether the graphics are as good as expected, if the game will be as funny as previous titles, and whether the devs have simply reconfigured old character models to speed up development. Fortunately, while the debate rages on whether Jason is related to Arthur in some strange and unusual way, fans are glad to see that GTA 6 is still bursting with humour.

What do you think, do you think Jason looks like Arthur, or does he share a resemblance to John Marston instead, another RDR great that’s been dragged into the mix as people scan every inch of Jason’s face?

No matter who you see when you look at Jason, how good he looks is a reflection of how blown away fans are by the stunning graphics of the game. This is probably one of the best-looking titles we’ve ever seen, and we’ve played a lot of stunners in our time. Sadly, we’ve got to wait for 2025 for the Rockstar game to launch, but thank goodness we finally have a trailer to watch whenever we start to get feverish at the lack of GTA content.

It's an arduous wait until 2025, especially with millions of fans now learning they won't be able to play the game when it launches.
