Since the first Nintendo home console arrived in the early 1980s, the Japanese tech giant has blessed us with countless classics over the decades and is still going stronger than ever to this day.
When the Nintendo Switch arrived in 2017, it continued the tradition of giving us banger after banger with titles such as Super Mario Odyssey, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Metroid Prime Remastered and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild to name a few.

Nintendo may have been late to the party, but it also has its own online multiplayer subscription model similar to Xbox Game Pass and PlayStation Plus. Nintendo Switch Online has two tiers, with the Expansion tier offering more bang for your buck.

The basic Nintendo Switch Online tier not only offers online gaming but also a selection of retro titles from the NES, SNES, Game Boy and Game Boy Color eras. Whereas the top Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion offers everything in the previous tier but with the addition of N64, Game Boy Advance and SEGA Mega Drive titles as well as bonus DLC.
Of course, regardless of the tier, you have some amazing games to play. However, if you subscribe to the top tier, you get to play the highest-rated video game of all time, and it is none other than the N64 classic of 1998, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time which has a legendary rating of 99 on the aggregate website, Metacritic.
You even get its sequel, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask which was released for the N64 in 2000. In fact, if you subscribe to Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack, you also get most of the classic titles of the series including The Legend of Zelda (NES), Zelda II: The Adventure of Link (NES), The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (SNES) and The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap (GBA).
We’re still waiting for The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker to arrive on the Nintendo Switch, but we’ll happily wait for Nintendo to make that happen, albeit impatiently. But we’ll wait nonetheless.
