The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is the gift that keeps on giving, especially when you pump it full of enhancement mods.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is the gift that keeps on giving, and if you pump it full of visual and gameplay enhancement mods, it’s still got a lot to give.

RPG fans around the world are undoubtedly looking forward to the release of Dragon’s Dogma 2 tomorrow, which promises an unrivalled open world adventure in a detailed and interactive world.

Check out the trailer for Dragon’s Dogma 2 below.

Though if you’re planning to skip the sequel, or at least wait until it’s on sale, perhaps you’ll be interested in this stunning next-gen remake of Skyrim which might have given Dragon’s Dogma 2 a run for its money if released today.

A video shared by Next-Gen Games on YouTube showcased Skyrim in an Ultra Modded state, with significant improvements to its graphics and textures.

I’d go so far to say that I’ve never seen the game displayed in such detail with vivid colours making the background scenery pop and feel life-like.

Walking through the various towns and settlements was also a treat, and while no combat was shown, one can only imagine how realistic it must look when you’re slicing off the limbs of your opponents and blasting them with magic spells.

The creator said they’ll share the full list of mods used later down the line, so provided you’ve got a good enough PC you may be able to achieve these spectacular effects for yourself with a bit of technical magic.

In all honesty, when the game looks as good as it does it could very easily be confused with a new-gen release, it’s just a shame it’s not available for console players too.

That being said Bethesda love re-releasing Skyrim so you can definitely imagine it has plans to remake the game in Unreal Engine 5 for yet another release.
