Fallout: Miami looks like it could be the coolest Fallout in years

Fallout: Miami looks like it could be the coolest Fallout in years

This is the Fallout many of us have been waiting for

Everyone talks about Skyrim being the gift that keeps on giving, yet there’s a lot to be said for the Fallout franchise, particularly Fallout 4. On its own, the base game has much to offer, but we’re looking for something cooler… which is what Fallout: Miami is offering.

To call this a mod feels criminal due to its size, its content promising to overflow for all who decide to take a trip to Miami for the day. Though be warned, it doesn’t look how you might think.

Bethesda's lastest release is Starfield. Take a look at some of our favourite wins and fails below.

Fallout: Miami doesn’t just allow exploration of an “exotic landscape”, but it also introduces “dangerous new creatures”, who we’re hoping aren’t nearly as terrifying to face as Deathclaws. Beyond its intriguing visuals, this DLC-sized mod brings back player choices to the heart of gameplay, with your decision holding much sway over an “ideological conflict”.

There’s a lot to be hyped about here. “Holy crap this looks amazing!!! The trailer is perfect, the aesthetic is perfect, the ghouls in bathing suits and wearing swim rings, the animations, everything looks fantastic!” One fan said, before quickly adding, “This mod is going to be SICK!”

Another comment praised the talent of the team working on Fallout: Miami, saying, “This looks so good!!!! I’m so happy to see this passion project come to life! Everyone working on this is so talented.”

Needless to say, everyone is excited to play Fallout: Miami for themselves. Sadly, there’s no launch date in sight just yet, but given the amount of effort the devs are putting into it, this PC mod is worth the wait.

Of course, during that wait there are plenty of other Bethesda-based delights to entertain you, with the mod community nothing if not dedicated to expanding on the original games. However you choose to plan your playthrough of Fallout: Miami, one thing is for certain: “This feels like Fallout should.”
