New Fallout release officially announced by Bethesda, and it's beautiful

Bethesda has unveiled the upcoming Fallout S.P.E.C.I.A.L Anthology and it’s a sight to behold.

If you’ve always longed to own the Fallout franchise in a snazzy little collector’s set, you’re in luck. Bethesda has unveiled the upcoming Fallout S.P.E.C.I.A.L Anthology and it’s a sight to behold.

Fallout is one of the industry’s most enduring IPs. From its isometric beginnings in the 1990s to the sprawling open world RPGs we see today, Fallout continues to innovate and evolve. It’s going to be quite some time until Fallout 5 drops into our laps. Bethesda is hard at work supporting Starfield - with the Shattered Space expansion set to drop later this year - with The Elder Scrolls VI being the next project in line. Fallout 5 is then due after this so could, unfortunately, be close to a decade away. In the meantime, Amazon’s Fallout adaptation premieres on 12 April. Fans can also enjoy the newly revealed S.P.E.C.I.A.L Anthology.

Take a look at Amazon’s Fallout adaptation in action below.

The S.P.E.C.I.A.L Anthology is set to launch on 11 April, to time up with the release of Amazon’s TV version - and you can pre-order it right now. The set includes seven games - Fallout, Fallout 2, Fallout Tactics, Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition, Fallout: New Vegas - Ultimate Edition, Fallout 4: Game of the Year Edition, and Fallout 76 - stored in a mini-nuke.

The main drawback about this set is that each game is presented as a PC code on seven collectible cards inspired by Fallout 76’s in-game perk cards. This means that, yes, there are no traditional physical game copies included. As for the mini-nuke case, it features an explosive sound effect but don’t worry. It’s just a sound effect.

As for the cost, the Fallout S.P.E.C.I.A.L Anthology will set you back $60 which actually is a pretty good deal. That works out at around $8.57 per game, with the mini-nuke case thrown in on top. Grab it while you can, Fallout fans.
