Steam free download is Studio Ghibli meets Zelda: Breath Of The Wild

This charming game on Steam draws comparisons with Studio Ghibli and Zelda Breath of the Wild

There are perhaps not many concoctions that go as well together as a Studio Ghibli animation and The Legend of Zelda. Like seriously, can we have that movie or series right now, please?

While that production won't be happening any time soon, there is at least one video game that might tickle your fancy and that’s the indie delight, Europa. However, there is a live-action The Legend of Zelda movie on the way, so there is that.

Check out the Europa trailer below

Developed by Helder Pinto and published by Future Friends Games, Europa (not to be confused with the European football competitions), is a charming action adventure that loves nothing more than the player to explore, and best of all, you can download and play this game for free now courtesy of its demo on Steam. Just by watching the trailer alone, I can see why it's being compared to a Studio Ghibli production as well as Breath of the Wild. Europa looks like total zen.

“On the moon Europa, a lush terraformed paradise in Jupiter’s shadow, an android named Zee sets out in search of answers. Run, glide and fly across the landscape, solve mysteries in the ruins of a fallen utopia, and discover the story of the last human alive,” reads the description of the game. “Europa is a peaceful game of adventure, exploration and meditation. As you travel you’ll gradually upgrade the capabilities of your Zephyr jetpack, boosting yourself further through the air until you can flow freely into the sky.”

At this time, Europa has only been announced on PC with a scheduled release date of 16 April 2024. Hopefully, this charming game will eventually make its way to PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch. We’ll be having our fingers crossed for that to happen. In the meantime, you can add Europa to your wishlist on Steam.
