When it comes to gorgeous and spectacular open worlds the PlayStation has most things beat. Looking at the library for the PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5 you’ll find loads of games that look too good to be console games, one of which is Horizon Zero Dawn.

Speaking of PlayStation games, we reviewed The Last Of Us Part II Remastered! Take a look at our thoughts below

In 2017 gamers were treated to the first adventure of Aloy, as she embarked on a “masterpiece” of story featuring a wild world filled with robotic dinosaurs. It seriously pushed the limits of what the PS4 could do, and was followed up beautifully with Horizon Forbidden West and its PS5 exclusive DLC Burning Shores.

If you thought the first game looked good on Sony’s console though, check out this video by Digital Dreams where it’s running through an RTX 4090 and a spattering of other extreme graphical settings.

Of course ray tracing is present as no enhanced version of a game is complete without it, and the resolution and framerate are crystal clear. The lands Aloy passes through on her journey has simply never looked better, and it’s a shame these graphics are locked behind the PC version of the game.

That being said if console players wanted to experience this level of detail they’d need something far more powerful than a PS5. Seriously, this is PlayStation 6 levels of graphics and god knows when that’s going to roll onto the scene.

Fans in the comments loved the gameplay, praising it for looking “so realistic” and “stunningly beautiful.”

If you want to try this version of the game out for yourself and have a PC powerful enough to do so, you can check the description of the video for details on what graphics mods were used.
