PlayStation 5 owners should listen to the below tip that’ll, hopefully, make their gaming experiences run a lot smoother.
As far as hardware goes, the PlayStation 5 is a monster of entertainment, though still not having background themes is a crime.

Turns out the console also has a variety of handy features lurking in its settings, many of which can be switched on or off to save you time while gaming, and tailor the overall experience to your needs.

One such setting is Game Presets, something you may have not tinkered with before until now. Game Presets can be found by navigating the settings like so: Settings > Saved Data > Game/App Settings > Game Presets.
Once you’re in, you can select what your preferred difficulty is while gaming, whether it be a more relaxed, casual time, or hardcore/competitive, which should sync up with whatever in-game difficulties are available.
You can also tweak the kind of graphical setup you’re after too, allowing you to set a preset for either performance or graphical fidelity.
Performance will keep your frames as high as possible, which is great for online multiplayer games, and the graphics setting will treat you to some gorgeous in-game views, especially for games like Horizon Forbidden West.

You can even set your controls to inverted mode from Game Presets, and change camera movement settings for first and third-person games.
It’s a handy sub-menu of settings, possibly one you weren’t aware of until now and even if you don’t plan on going rooting through it, it’s good to know it’s there.
There are plenty of other handy settings lurking in the PlayStation 5 too, so I’d recommend having a deep-dive and seeing what else can be found.
