It's been a pretty good year for PlayStation, we had the spectacular sequel to Marvel’s Spider-Man, limited exclusivity to Baldur's Gate 3, and a free expansion to the best PS5 game so far, God Of War Ragnarok.

Check out the new God Of War expansion, God Of War Ragnarok: Valhalla below!

That being said, it's been a bad year for PlayStation Plus, which has relentlessly disappointed its subscribers, despite claims from Sony that it's gaining more members every month.

Luckily the latest freebies on offer don’t require a PlayStation Plus membership to redeem, and while they’re not the latest AAA games being delivered directly to your library, it’s the thought that counts.

It’s all part of PlayStation Wrap-Up, the annual celebration of everything PlayStation that’s similar to Spotify Wrapped. By logging in with your account you’ll be given the rundown of everything you’ve played this year, including the ones you spent the most time on, secured the most trophies in, or using the genre of game to determine what kind of gamer you are.

Once you’ve made your way through the roundup you’ll receive a lovely message from PlayStation thanking you for your support and time over the year, along with some digital goodies to add to your profile. What are these rewards I hear you ask? Spider-Man fans will be happy, as they’re two cute little spiderbots featured in the game. One has the standard spidey colour scheme that Peter wears, whereas the other is green and purple like The Prowler’s suit. Other players have reportedly received different avatars as well so don’t be surprised if you get something different.

These digital icons can be displayed on your profile…and that’s basically it, but again it’s the thought that counts.

If you haven’t checked out your PlayStation Wrap-Up yet, get to it! You can do it for free on the official PlayStation website.
