Look. I don't often stand here and beg you guys to play a game, but I am begging you to play this one. Right now, one of the greatest video games ever made is free, making this the perfect time for you to check it out.
If you're a PlayStation Plus Extra subscriber you currently have access to a huge amount of video games. There are a ton of Assassin's Creed games, a heap of Far Cry, a dash of PlayStation exclusives, and some of the best indies you never heard of.
With so many options it can be a little hard to narrow down what to start with. But I am imploring you to give this award-winning 2018 video game a go.

Celeste is one of those video games that could only ever be a video game. I mean that in the best possible way. Celeste is a demanding platformer that expertly fuses its pixel-perfect challenges with the heart of the story.
In Celeste, our main character is tasked with climbing to the very top of a mountain filled with obstacles and straight-up death tracks. It seems like an impossible task for our hero, and very frequently seems the same to us as the player. Death is a common occurrence in Celeste, and you will die in the same room or fall into the same pit over and over and over again. But when you overcome a challenge or scrape through a level and get a little bit higher up the mountain? Well, you begin to feel like the impossible is possible after all, a lesson you manage to learn at the same time as your character.

Celeste also beautifully deals with mental health - most notably themes of anxiety and self loathing. There are no easy answers or magic solutions, either; just a message of self acceptance. Oh, and you'll learn how to breathe through panic attacks, which is something I never thought a video game would teach me.
Celeste is hands-down one of the most challenging video games you'll ever play, but if you can stick with it, you'll come away having had one of the best experiences. And if the platforming is really tripping you up and you just want to enjoy the story, you can go ahead and turn on a huge number of accessibility options.
