Sony’s PlayStation Plus subscription service is packed full of gaming delights whether it be massive AAA titles or indie darlings that we might not otherwise play. Plus, it can be a great way to save money as opposed to buying a full-price game that we might end up disliking.
However, the duration in which games remain in subscription services such as PS Plus and Xbox Game Pass can vary. Some titles, in particular those that are first-party may remain on the service forever, while some may only be available for a few months at best. This is why if there’s any game that tickles your fancy, it’s worth giving it a go before it’s removed from the service.

Despite having a new collection of games to look forward to with PS Plus in January 2024, it’s also time to say goodbye to others and it includes some absolute bangers. For example, as of 16 January 2024, Devil May Cry 5 (PS4), Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition (PS5), It Takes Two, Jett: The Far Shore, The Missing: J.J Macfield and the Island of Memories, Mitsurugi Kamui Hiake, Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire - Ultimate Edition and ShowRunner are all leaving.

One other game that is leaving on 16 January is the cute open-world adventure called Omno, which gives me Journey vibes developed by Thatgamecompany. “Omno whisks you away on a journey of discovery through an ancient world of wonders. It’s a single-player adventure full of puzzles, secrets, and obstacles to overcome,” reads the description of the game.
On Steam, Omno has scored ‘Very Positive” reviews from the community and has scored as high as 82 on the aggregate website, Metacritic. Impressively, Omno was created by just one developer at Studio Inkyfox Jonas Manke.
So, if you want to play Omno for free before it leaves PS Plus, your final chance is fast approaching. Omno is out now on PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch.
