There are a lot of secrets in Red Dead Redemption games, with Rockstar Games going to great lengths to stash plenty of peculiar discoveries with its open-world games.

Check out these hilarious Red Dead Redemption 2 wins and fails below

Red Dead Redemption 2 is no different, with so many unsettling things to find that it’s sort of hard to keep track of them all. You can find vampires, a giant living in a cave, a shrine dedicated to The Strange Man and so much more.

After believing we’ve found all the mysteries present in the game, fans have added one more to the pile.

Found by a Reddit user who’s since deleted their account, patrolling Guarma is a man riding a donkey whilst wearing a frankly fantastic poncho. The user said he was “not hostile” yet there’s no indication of who he is, what he’s doing or why he’s there in the first place.

So who is this mysterious individual? Is he The Strange Man? Another time traveller? Maybe the elusive Bigfoot? Nope, seems like he’s just a dude vibing on a horse, and we can respect that.

That didn’t stop other players from poking fun at the find though. If there’s an NPC in a game without a name or backstory, you best believe the internet will give them one for the ages and poncho man was no exception.

One player proclaimed “His name is Esteban Julió Ricardo Montoya de la Rosa Ramírez,” whereas another speculated he’s the personification of Tahiti, “Dutch just missed him.”

That being said some players think the guy is cooler for having no discernible origin or purpose, with one saying “He straight vibin aback that stallion, I say let him be.”

We don’t know who you are poncho man, but you’re a living legend in our eyes, and if Rockstar doesn’t add him to all of their future games we’re boycotting.
