Day one patch notes for Starfield have been leaked online, with Bethesda hard at work to deliver the best experience possible to fans.
It says a lot about an unreleased game when leaked patch notes are such a huge talking point amongst the community. Given the enormous amount of hype surrounding Starfield, it’s no surprise fans are constantly keeping their eyes open for new developments or leaks, despite the game being days away from launching.

While some may be questioning their own sanity by getting excited over random patch notes, many are seeing it as a sign Bethesda’s next IP will a truly impressive intergalactic adventure.

As reported by Insider Gaming, the frankly enormous patch is in preparation for its early access release on the 1st of September. Early access is only available for those who’ve purchased the Constellation Edition of the game.
As for what’s included in the day one patch, it’s mainly stability and performance fixes, improving the game’s visuals, audio and gameplay so soon-to-be space explorers have the smoothest experience possible when the game launches.
Given the game’s scale, and Bethesda’s reputation for bugs and performance problems, many were undoubtful worried, and some probably still sceptical, about the state of Starfield on launch.
Luckily, Xbox and Bethesda quelled those fears by making the bold claim that Starfield will have the fewest bugs and glitches of any previous Bethesda title. First impressions of the game corroborated this claim, with some reviewers saying they haven’t experienced a single bug in their playthroughs so far.

After hearing all the overwhelmingly positive comments about the title, fans couldn’t be more excited for the game’s official release, with many preparing to sink thousands of hours into its enormous galaxy.
Starfield officially launches on Xbox and PC platforms on the 6th of September, or the 1st of September for early access players.
