A Street Fighter 6 Tournament on Twitch came to an abrupt stop after Chun-Li seemingly had a wardrobe error.
Since its release a few weeks ago, Capcom's Street Fighter 6 has continued to gain popularity for both casual and hardcore fighting game fans. In our review, we gave it a 9/10, praising its accessibility options for newcomers and its truly impressive graphical fidelity.

Some fans have seemingly liked the game, or more specifically its characters, a bit too much though, going so far as to create mods that put the female fighters into skimpy outfits, or take their clothes away entirely.

Series regular Chun-Li was the target of one of these mods, which stripped her of her classic blue ceremonial Chinese dress, leaving her with nothing to wear at all. While I won’t judge how people play video games in the privacy of their own homes, the offending mod was switched on during the worst possible time, a live-streamed Twitch tournament.
Yesterday, Corner2Corner hosted one of its regular seasonal tournament matches on Twitch between the two players, Lensta and Packz. The first round went underway but was quickly cut short after Chun-Li emerged completely nude.
The displayed content quickly shifted from the match to a bracket screen, as the commentators tried to keep their composure at the admittedly funny start to the tournament.
One of the commentators quipped: “That’s an interesting Chun-Li costume there.”

Due to Twitch’s strict community guidelines on nudity and sex, the stream VOD, including the clip, was removed from the platform, and the channel could potentially be taken down as well if Twitch deems it so. At the time of writing, Corner2Corner is still active, so the channel may have managed to escape delisting, after all, it was accidental.
Street Fighter 6 is currently available on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC.
