Amouranth complains Twitch never recognised her as the top female streamer

Amouranth has said Twitch failed to recognise her as the most-streamed female on the platform.

Streamer Amourtanth, real name Kaitlyn Siragusa, has said she was open to moving over to Kick after Twitch failed to recognise her as the top female streamer on the platform.

Amouranth first revealed that she’d be leaving Twitch back in June. It’s not known exactly what kind of deal she secured, but xQc signed a $100,000,000 deal to join Kick in June of this year. Yeah, you read that number correctly. There’s big money to be made in the streaming world. That’s something that Amouranth knows all too well. In June, the streaming star made a whopping $15,000 just from sleeping on stream for a couple of hours. Now that's what I call a lucrative nap. Amouranth announced her move to Kick just two days after xQc revealed his eye-watering landmark deal - and now she’s opened up slightly more about why she chose to distance herself from Twitch.

Take a look at some of our livestream wins and fails below.

As reported by Dexerto, Amouranth spoke to NBC about how despite surging past Pokimane and Valkyrae in 2022, she was never celebrated as the most-watched female streamer. She said in an interview, “I was the top female streamer on Twitch, but they never reached out with any recognition.”

She then touched on her move to Kick, adding, “Kick is open from the beginning and communicative. They are open to hearing suggestions. There are decision-makers available for creators to discuss about the platform’s future.” It certainly sounds like Amouranth is set to stay on Kick.

Dexerto added that Kick are reportedly keen to sign Dr Disrespect, but Doc requested a $50,000,000 contract. You’d think after seeing xQc’s deal, that would be no issue but Doc’s request was said to be a little bit too high.
