Stranger Things star David Harbour is a big fan of Starfield

Stranger Things star David Harbour has confessed that he's a big fan of Starfield.

It is sometimes hard to picture our favourite actors settling down to play video games just like us but that appears to be the case for Stranger Thing’s David Harbour who has recently revealed he is a fan of Bethesda’s Starfield.

David Harbour is apparently no stranger to an RPG after previously revealing he was an avid player of World of Warcraft. Now it seems as though Bethesda’s latest title, Starfield, is capturing his attention with the actor sharing his love for it in a recent interview with IGN.

Whilst attending the BoxLunch Gala on 9 November, Harbour, best known for playing Hopper in Stranger Things, revealed he “loved” Bethesda’s latest space adventure.

Check out our Starfield review below!

"Starfield? I loved it!" the actor exclaimed. "I mean, it's been controversial as a game, as well, right? Todd Howard, in general, I mean, there's a lot of, like, controversy around Bethesda. But I have to say Bethesda games; there's something about them that is just so rich, and that world."

As well as enjoying the game, it seems as though Harbour is also focused on gaining infinite money and even stealing things in the RPG. "I'm leveling up my dude and using all the exploits to get infinite money and steal things,” he added. However, one thing he did not do was create a character with his likeness. "No, God, no," he said. "My character's extremely young and extremely handsome."

This is somewhat good news for Starfield after Bethesda’s RPG had a less than successful week after being snubbed at the 2023 Game Awards. The title managed to get just one nomination and was completely excluded from the running of Game of the Year. Despite this, fans are not surprised at this news as 2023 was also the year we saw record-hitting titles such as Baldur’s Gate 3 and Alan Wake 2.

Regardless of the snub, Starfield is still widely loved and accepted by many gamers, including the stars of some of our favourite shows.
