A savvy Xbox gamer has found a "super easy" way to farm points which can be converted into free store credit, and it's something you might want to try sooner rather than later.
It's not something Microsoft shouts about often, but Xbox actually has a loyalty system in which you can earn points by following certain steps. Play certain games, complete specific tasks, even earn achievements. Points that can then be traded in for free store credit.
PlayStation has its own system for free store credit and rewards points, and it's easy for Steam users to get their hands on store credit or games. But Xbox actually has one of the most fruitful loyalty schemes, if you're smart enough about it.

Rewards With Xbox allows you to earn points by buying and playing certain games, or completing various tasks. Points can eventually be traded in for everything from Xbox Game Pass memberships to raffle entries for consoles and free store credit.
Over on the Microsoft Rewards subreddit, a user by the name of satoru1111 has outlined an in-depth but relatively simple scheme to get quick and easy Xbox achievements which can, in turn, go towards earning points which can one day become store credit.
The game in question is Galactic Civilizations III, which is currently available for 'free' via Xbox Game Pass Ultimate (PC only). So, assuming you're an Xbox Game Pass subscriber, you won't even need to fork out for a new game.
The long and short of it is that you can apparently net easy achievements by using cheats, so if you really are only looking to farm some quick and dirty points and think playing video games is a pesky waste of time, you can go ahead and follow these steps. Is it completely ethical? Maybe not. But Microsoft did just lay off hundreds of staff and cancel a bunch of promising projects amid huge financial success, so I know I won't lose a ton of sleep over this.
