Wow, PlayStation, spoiling us much? Even though it doesn’t feel that long ago that we had the incredible PlayStation Showcase revealing Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and Wolverine and God of War Ragnarök, we’re already getting another State of Play next week.
We will be seeing more announcements from PlayStation and its partners from around the world on Wednesday, October 27 2021 at 2:00 pm PT / 10:00 pm BST. And we can’t wait to see what’s in store for us.
We may be seeing some more of God of War Ragnarök...
The event was announced on Twitter with a blog post to let us know a little of what to expect. It says: “This time out, we’ll be focusing on announcements and updates for upcoming third-party releases headed to PS5 and PS4. The show is looking to be ~20 minutes or so, and will share new looks at previously announced games, plus a few reveals from our partners around the world.”
So what can we expect from this State of Play? Well as always, it's likely there will be a small surprise here or there. Although it may not be on the scale of Marvel's Wolverine, it'll be special to someone I'm sure. But from the information in the blog post, it seems that we're going to get a better look at some previously announced titles.
That means we could be seeing some more information about a whole bunch of different upcoming titles. It might be God of War Ragnarök or perhaps Horizon Forbidden West. It could be that this State of Play will focus a little more on how PlayStation games are steadily appearing on PC. It may be DLC for games already out like Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart. Honestly, we have no idea what might be coming in this update, but we're always delighted to see what is up and coming on Sony's platforms.
