You Can Win A Limited Edition Prize For Beating 'Marvel's Spider-Man'

I would want 500 Miles and I would want 500 more.

Complete Marvel's Spider-Man on the PlayStation 4 before the end of the month, and you'll be in for a chance at winning a Lego Miles Morales minifigure.

Courtesy of a collaboration between Lego, Marvel, and PlayStation, the sweepstake only requires entrants to have beaten Marvel's Spider-Man before 11:59pm ET on October 29th, thereby unlocking the "End Game" trophy. With that achievement attached to the player's PSN ID, they should then click this link and select the "opt-in" button for a kick at the can.

The minifigure itself is a thing of wonder, with mini Miles wearing his red-and-black Classic Suit from the upcoming Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales. Note: it doesn't come with a little Lego cat, which I believe is a missed opportunity. There are just over 1,000 of these to be won (1,650 to be exact, but I didn't specify that because then the "500 Miles" joke wouldn't have worked), so hop to it.

Finishing Marvel's Spider-Man is no small task, as its main story and side missions weigh in at about 25 hours. However, you lot think that's a day well spent, as it left other PlayStation 4 exclusives like God of War and The Last of Us Part 2 in the dust in a poll conducted by UNILAD. Developer Insomniac Games will be giving the game a spit and polish for the PlayStation 5, but it clarified that this will be "no simple up-res."

This enhanced version of Marvel's Spider-Man will launch alongside the upcoming Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, packaged as part of an Ultimate Edition. Players will look forward to enjoying the original game's campaign as well as its three DLCs on the PlayStation 5, but the new character models have proven divisive.

Ben Jordan is the new face model for Peter Parker, and his coincidental likeness to Tom Holland hasn't flown under the radar. Fans riled against the makeover, explaining that the hero has been Spider-Man for some time, and shouldn't look so fresh-faced. Insomniac Games' statement? "We loved working with [original face model] John Bubniak on the original game; however, to get a better match to Peter Parker/Spider-Man actor Yuri Lowenthal's facial capture, we have cast Ben Jordan to be the face model for Peter Parker on the PS5 console." Ok.

Marvel's Spider-Man is available now on the PlayStation 4, and its remaster will arrive on the PlayStation 5 as part of the Marvel's Spider-Man Miles Morales Ultimate Edition on November 19th.
