My Cupman runneth over.

It sounds as if former Xbox-exclusive Cuphead is finally making its way to PlayStation 4. Studio MDHR's punishingly difficult run-and-gun shooter was a highlight of 2017 when it hit Xbox One and PC. In 2019 it terrorised a whole new audience on Nintendo Switch with its fearsome boss battles - and now it looks like the fun is coming to Sony's console.

At least, this is according to a leaked PSN listing. As spotted by Wario64 on Twitter, Cuphead briefly appeared on the New Games section of the PlayStation store before it was swiftly taken down.

As if this wasn't enough evidence for you, The Game Awards host Geoff Keighley took to Twitter last night to confirm that a "special update from one of our favourite indie studios" is coming today, July 28th. Keighley also tweeted - then swiftly deleted - a reply to Wario64, which would seem to confirm that the update is coming from Studio MDHR, and that it's regarding Cuphead landing on PS4.

Keighley said that we can expect the update at 4pm BST, so we really don't have that long to wait. Honestly, it's almost a shame that the news leaked ahead of time, because Cuphead coming to PS4 is a genuinely awesome surprise. If you've never checked out the adorable-but-deadly shooter, I honestly can't recommend it enough. It's worth it for the gorgeous 1930's animation-inspired visuals alone.

Cuphead
isn't the only Xbox exclusive to have branched out in the years since release. Both Super Lucky's Tale and the sublime Ori And The Blind Forest made the jump to Nintendo Switch last year.

Whether or not this means we can expect more ex-Xbox titles to come to PlayStation remains to be seen, but I'd love to see more Sony devotees have the chance to play this year's Ori And The Will Of The Wisps. We'll have to wait and see, I guess.
