The end of the year draws ever nearer, which means that it’s the season of giving. You can always rely on us video game fans to accept a free gift, although we’re not the most grateful bunch. We do tend to moan about the quality of said freebies but hey, we’ll accept them nonetheless.
This month, all PlayStation Plus subscribers can grab Mass Effect Legendary Edition, Biomutant, and Divine Knockout: Founder’s Edition - plus extra and premium tier subscribers can get their hands on an extra 15 games including Yakuza: Like A Dragon, Far Cry 5, and WWE 2K22. I did say we like to moan. It’s a line-up that’s not gone down well with subscribers. Kojima Productions recently celebrated their seventh anniversary and to mark the occasion, they’ve created a brand new set of Death Stranding 2 inspired PSN avatars to give away to users. The set includes four BB Pod avatars and if this is something you fancy, I’d act sooner rather than later. There’s no details regarding how long the codes will remain eligible for so it’s always better to be safe than sorry.

To access the avatars, simply head to the PlayStation Store and redeem the code relevant to your territory, which are as follows: Americas (PRKT-2QNQ-DH4X), Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EHNA-6MNB-PGL5), Asia (CRBA-GKNP-J9EK), Japan (JP2J-A5NG-PT2F), and Korea (3D86-9PNF-KABQ).
Who’s excited for Death Stranding 2? This week, Kojima teased that it wasn’t a ‘regular’ sequel. Instead, he explained that the sequel would appeal to both returning and new players, adding that ideas that were previously “impossible,” are now achievable. I fully expect this game to be just as mind-boggling as the first instalment - if not more.
