Grand Theft Auto V for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X is on its way in two months time and Rockstar Games has assured us that there will be "a range of technical improvements, visual upgrades and performance enhancements to take full advantage of the console's powerful new hardware, making the game more beautiful and more responsive than ever".

The game was originally released in 2013 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 and then came to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One one year afterwards. The PC release, which is able to hit 60 frames per second and 4K resolutions on the most souped up of machines, came in 2015. So, in short, there's more versions of Grand Theft Auto V than you can shake a stick at. You're even able to play the game on your phone through the majesty of Xbox Cloud Gaming.

So what's new in the newest version of Grand Theft Auto V for the newest consoles on the market? Well, check out the new trailer right here, flaunting improved visuals and the power of the consoles to switch between Michael, Trevor and Franklin within no time at all.

Now we know that Grand Theft Auto V is absolutely awful for its lengthy load times, so much so that the studio rewarded a developer who was able to slash its load times by 70% with a generous $10,000. The fact that we'll be able to hop between characters and the locations of Los Santos in a jiffy is something to behold.

Honestly, the visuals aren't blowing us away here as it looks like the way we remember it playing for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. However, it's possible there will be new campaign content with an probable unseen heist making an appearance towards the end of the trailer. Grand Theft Auto V comes to the new consoles on November 11th, 2021.
