Sony Interactive Entertainment has officially rolled out the brand-new PlayStation Plus service in Asia ahead of its launch here in the UK, and it's giving us some idea of what to expect from the new Extra and Premium tiers.
As I'm sure you know at this point, PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium will offer a raft of free games from various generations of PlayStation. We've already seen there are some genuine PlayStation classics returning, including Toy Story 2: Buzz Lightyear To The Rescue and other, less important games that didn't light up my childhood. There are also around 140 PS4 and PS5 games to look forward to.

One of the less talked about perks of PlayStation Plus Premium is the access to a number of limited-time trials. Subscribers will be able to try out some of the biggest games for extended periods, with access to some games lasting up to five hours.
Granted for most modern AAA open world games five hours is barely enough to get you through the tutorial, past the cutscenes, and out the front door, but it's still pretty neat.
As you can see below, there are some pretty major games on offer as part of the trials. This year's Horizon Forbidden West will be available to try out for the full five hours, as will Cyberpunk 2077. A free trial might have helped us all avoid a lot of heartache around CD Projekt RED's sci-fi RPG back in the day, but ah well. It's a better game now, I swear.
