We love to see it

Kena: Bridge Of Spirits is yet another strong console exclusive for Sony. Ember Lab's stunning Zelda-inspired adventure might not be the most original game we've ever played, but it's astonishingly pretty, deeply charming, and tons of fun.

Certainly, I'd urge anyone with a PlayStation 5 or PlayStation 4 to check it out, especially if they're craving something Zelda flavoured this year. It certainly doesn't match the highest highs of Nintendo's beloved franchise, but it's an assured debut for Kena all the same. We're certainly hoping to see more of her sooner rather than later.

In the meantime, those of you without a PlayStation console might be eyeing up Bridge Of Spirits and wondering if, or when, you can get your hands on it. The good news is that if you've got a good enough PC, it's available via the Epic Games Store. But will it ever land on Xbox? Ember Labs certainly isn't ruling it out.

In an interview with SegmentNext, Ember Lab's co-founder Josh Grier reminded fans that the game's PlayStation exclusivity is part of a timed deal, meaning that there's hope for the adventure to land on Microsoft consoles at some point. He just can't put a precise date on that yet. The team has worked hard to get Bridge Of Spirits out and needs some time to relax before it "looks into" other platforms. Understandable, no?

"We are currently focused in our launches for PlayStation and Epic Games store, which are timed exclusives." Grier said ahead of the game's launch. "We will look into other platform releases after launch and a rest. Right now, with just a few days to launch, it's very difficult to think about next steps or future offerings.

"We have been responding to the requests from the community as best we can. For example, we just announced a physical release and the addition of Russian and Brazilian-Portuguese."
