PlayStation 5 Owner Turns Console Into An Actual Yu-Gi-Oh Meme

When the PlayStation 5 design was first unveiled earlier this year, it gave way to a deluge of memes. While I think we're all a lot more used to looking at the curvy ice-white mammoth at this stage, those first few weeks were rough. The PS5 is a major departure from its predecessors, design-wise, and the only way we could reconcile that was to rip the absolute piss out of the thing.

I'm sure you probably remember most of the memes comparing it to be an ethernet router or a character out of WALL-E... but one of the better and more iconic creations inspired the PS5 design involved comparing the console to Yu-Gi-Oh antagonist Seto Kaiba. Take a look below to refresh your memory.

Now that the PlayStation 5 is finally available (in some parts of the world anyway), one dedicated fan has decided to turn the Seto Kaiba meme into a reality.

Over on Twitter, gamer and obvious genius linahasanxiety revealed that she's printed and hand-painted a model of Kaiba's head to mount atop her console. It effectively turns her PS5 into a pretty accurate Yu-Gi-Oh action figure. I'd recommend she start selling these custom heads to other PS5 owners, but given the fact that it took nearly 48 hours to print the first one, I'm not sure that's the most viable path forward. Ah well, that just makes it more of a collector's item.

In other, slightly less unusual custom PlayStation 5 news, multiple users have started painting their new consoles black. While it's not quite as daring as perching the head of a beloved anime character atop your console, it does prove once and for all that the PS5 looks way better in black. Plus, you know, black is slimming and the PS5 is an absolute unit.
