PlayStation has announced the free PlayStation Plus games for August 2020, and subscribers are in for two absolute bangers in the form of Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered and Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout.
I can't imagine that Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered needs much of an introduction. Released earlier this year, it's a shiny remaster of the beloved campaign from Infinity Ward's 2009 shooter. I mean, the name of the game gives it away, right?
PlayStation Plus subscribers will be able to add this one to their library from tomorrow (July 28th) until August 31st. As always, once you've added a PS Plus freebie to your library, you can download and play it for as long as you're subscribed to the service.
Call Of Duty is all well and good, but what really has me excited is the news that we'll be able to download and play Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout from August 4th until August 31st. For those of you that haven't heard of it, Fall Guys is a properly fantastic battle royale inspired by game shows like Takeshi's Castle and Total Wipeout. Players compete across a series of ridiculous rounds to be the last player standing and earn the crown. It's chaotic and awesome, and I guarantee you'll have a blast with it.

What's really cool about Fall Guys as a PS Plus freebie is that it's being added on the day it launches. That means you'll be able to get in on the multiplayer mayhem at the same time as everyone else, from day one.
Super cool move from PlayStation there, I have to say. If I sound a little too enthusiastic about Fall Guys, you'll have to forgive me. I just played the beta this weekend and loved it, so I can't wait to jump in again next week. I really do think this game is going to be huge, and launching it as a PS Plus freebie will give it such a boost. You love to see it.
Anyway, don't forget that you have until August 3rd to pick up the free games from July. That's NBA 2K20, Rise Of The Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration, and Erica. Add 'em to your library now before you lose your chance and regret it forever. Well, not forever, but for a while.
