Most fans would agree that PlayStation Plus has been on a real hot streak of late, but that could be about to change with the free games for June 2023.
The last couple of months have seen PlayStation Plus get some genuine bangers. Subscribers can currently play one of the best action-adventure games out there, one of the PlayStation 5's best-looking games, and a brand-new release that's winning rave reviews.
You'll agree, then, there's a lot riding on PlayStation Plus to keep the good times rolling with a bumper crop of games for June. Unfortunately, we're already off to a fairly rocky start with PlayStation moving in entirely the wrong direction.

As you've likely heard by now, PlayStation Plus is losing a bunch of games in June. While we don't yet know which new games will be added to the service next month, paying subscribers are never exactly thrilled to learn they'll be losing titles.
In total PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 owners with a PS Plus subscription will be saying goodbye to no less than 17 games. Ouch.
The departing games are: 9 Monkeys of Shaolin, Agents of Mayhem, Ash of Gods: Redemption, Black Mirror, Defense Grid 2, Descenders, Gods Will Fall, Joe Dever's Lone Wolf, John Wick Hex, KeyWe, No Straight Roads, Party Hard, Red Faction, Red Faction 2, Redeemer: Enhanced Edition, and Wytchwood.
While it's true there are no major AAA games being removed this month (thankfully), there are some bangers in there. Here's hoping PlayStation drops some serious winners for June to help counteract this loss. And of course it's worth noting that we lost Marvel's Spider-Man as a PlayStation Plus game in May, as well as the excellent PlayStation Plus collection. But if Sony keeps taking away more games than it adds, you have to wonder where subscribers are going to draw the line.
