PlayStation Plus March 2022 Free Game Spotted Online

PlayStation Plus March 2022 Free Game Spotted Online

Not a bad addition at all

One of the free PlayStation Plus games for March 2022 may have leaked a little early, thanks to a small clue on the PlayStation Store.

While we already know that PlayStation Plus subscribers will be able to get their hands on GTA Online for free midway through March, the rest of the lineup has yet to be confirmed. Thankfully, a recent discovery gives us some idea of what the next big freebie could be - and it's a real winner.

As spotted by TechRadar, it looks like Sloclap's recently released and intensely challenging beat 'em up Sifu could be one of our next PlayStation Plus games.

If you own Sifu on PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5 and log in to your PlayStation account via browser, you'll notice a small PS Plus symbol next to the game listing in your library. What's interesting about this is that it's the exact same symbol next to games that have been included with PS Plus recently, including Dirt 5 and Tiny Tina's Assault On Dragon Keep.

Take this with a pinch of salt for now. There's every chance that the listing is an error, or that the icon indicates that Sifu may be getting additional content for PS Plus subscribers.

With that said, it wouldn't be the first time that PlayStation has dropped a newer release via PS Plus. The likes of Fall Guys, Oddworld: Soulstorm, and Destruction AllStars launched on the subscription service. Admittedly, releasing Sifu for free one month after it launched rather than with the February lineup would be a little strange, but watch this space.
