Some God-Tier PS1 Games Are Coming To PlayStation Plus

The all-new, not-so different PlayStation Plus subscription service launches next month, which means we'll very soon finally be able to play classic PlayStation and PlayStation 2 games on our PS4/PS5 consoles. You know, for a price.
Sony announced the long-rumoured PlayStation Plus overhaul last month, confirming a complete rejigging of the service and multiple new tiers with their own bonuses that extend beyond monthly free games and access to online multiplayer.

There are three tiers: Essential (£7), Extra (£11) and Premium (£13.49). But it's PlayStation Plus Premium that has us most excited. As well as the usual monthly free games and access to PlayStation Now's library, subscribers will also be able to download and play PS1, PS2, and even PSP games - that's something fans have been begging for for a long time.
Unfortunately, Sony has yet to confirm which classic games will be available via the service at launch. A few weeks ago the original Syphon Filter and a handful of its sequels appeared on a Korean ratings board, sparking speculation that the games are being re-released through PS Plus Premium. Now, several more classic games have been spotted in Sony's servers, and they're bangers.
As first pointed out on Reddit, assets for multiple games have started to leak through the PlayStation Store. Tekken 2 (PS1) and Ridge Racer (PSP) was the first to be discovered. Soon after, Mr Driller, Worms Armageddon, and Worms World Party (all PS1) were discovered. Including the Syphon Filter games, that makes five PS1 titles and three PSP so far. No doubt Sony will announce the full lineup soon, but for now we'll update this story as and when more games are uncovered.
