Sony’s PlayStation Plus subscription service has so many games on offer from AAA big hitters, hidden gems, indie darlings and much more. It gives subscribers an opportunity to play games that might otherwise fly under the radar.
One such game is Child of Light from Ubisoft, which was originally released in 2014 for PC, PlayStation, Xbox and the Wii U, before arriving on other platforms such as Nintendo Switch and the now-deceased Google Stadia.

Child of Light is a side-scrolling RPG that has a certain indie charm, supported by engaging gameplay, beautiful visuals and a mesmerising soundtrack to boot. It really is a game that should be played by more gamers and fans on Reddit agree.

“I recently finished Child of Light and it’s fantastic for any RPG fan. It has a great story, music, and combat.
