Weirdly, Sony has seemingly deleted the dates that tell you when games are leaving PlayStation Plus from the display menus and graphical user experience on the PlayStation 5.
It's very possible that this is an error that has emerged from an update, before we start rolling up our sleeves. However. It is known that Sony doesn't particularly prioritise preservation of its storied library of games, especially in contrast with Xbox's commitment to backwards-compatibility across generations and TLC for older titles.

Eurogamer's Ed Nightingale corroborated Push Square's claims that the dates have been deleted with his screenshots of Rez Infinite's listing. The newest version of the iconic Dreamcast rail shooter is in PlayStation Plus' "Last Chance To Play" section, but there's no notice of when the game is going to be removed. As per the revamped PlayStation Plus plans, games in the Essential tier are available to download for a month, yet those titles on the more expensive Extra and Premium tiers permanently lock players out of the game when they leave the service.

Push Square has pointed out that Sony never specifies an expiry date for PlayStation Plus titles in its monthly blog posts announcing what games are on their way to players. Eurogamer has reached out to Sony for a confirmation but hasn't heard, so we're still in the dark as to whether this is an intentional change.
