Senior Couple Posts Ad For Help Learning To Play Their New PS4

I'm gonna go out on a limb and assume most of the people reading this right now have been gaming for most of their lives. I know I have, which is why I also know it's incredibly easy to forget sometimes that the idea of picking up a controller and learning to play is incredibly daunting if it's not something you're familiar with.

Gaming is its own language. You or I could walk into the room of a dungeon in The Legend Of Zelda and instantly understand what needs to go where. That might not seem like a skill, but it absolutely is. And so is being able to use a PlayStation 4 or Xbox One controller effortlessly across a wide variety of games.

That's why it's so great to see more and more older gamers willing to take the plunge and learn, especially since it'll require a little more effort on their part. Over on Reddit. a local Craigslist ad is doing the rounds that has absolutely melted my cold dead heart. It would seem a senior couple is on the hunt for a "personal tutor" to come to their home and teach them how to play The Last Of Us Part II.

"Need a person that knows the game and knows how to work the controller," the ad reads. "We need someone who is patient and can teach us without judging us. Without getting frustrated or irritated. We want to enjoy this diversion."

Going by some of the responses on Reddit, a number of willing players in the area have already responded to the ad with enthusiasm. Hopefully before long this couple will be able to properly enjoy The Last Of Us Part II... as much as "enjoy" is a word that can be used in relation to Naughty Dog's harrowing sequel.
