Sony's latest sale spotlights some seriously good games for the PlayStation 5, like Demon's Souls and Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, finally slashing those spicy price tags.

This is part of the company's Days Of Play promotion - you might remember this event from last year where it offered "awesome deals to celebrate the passionate PlayStation community around the globe" as a show of appreciation for players. You'll be thrilled to hear that this time round, things are no different, aside from the fact that the launch of the PlayStation 5 has come and gone and now its exclusives are included in the new sales.

Of course, the stocks of the PlayStation 5 are not where Sony would like them to be, owing to the scarcity of semiconductors. This issue is affecting almost every company that deals in electronics, from automobiles to mobile phones to personal computers, though Sony has been clear about the impacts on its console manufacturing. The promotion is planned to kick off on May 26th and end on June 9th, so that's plenty of time to peruse the deals and pick the ones you've been yearning for.

If you've been fortunate enough to bag yourself a PlayStation 5 in spite of the shortages, may I share with you the reveal of the new controller colours? These are showstoppers, so check them out below.

Regarding PlayStation 5 games, Demon's Souls Remake will be discounted to £59.99, Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales to £42.99, Marvel's Spider-Man Ultimate Edition to £59.99, and Sackboy A Big Adventure! to £51.99. Expectedly, Returnal won't feature here seeing as it was released only a month ago, but you should definitely keep your eyes peeled for that one. Ewan thinks it's the best exclusive yet, but Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart could be coming for its crown if you ask Imogen.

On the other hand, PlayStation 4 discounts comprise Days Gone for £16.99, Death Stranding for £16.99, Ghost of Tsushima for £30.99, Marvel's Spider-Man for £16.99, The Last of Us Part II for £22.99, and PS Hits Titles for £11.99. It also appears that these aren't the only games that will be in the sales, as Sony refers to "additional deals" that haven't been announced. Last but not least, PSVR players haven't been left in the cold because there are a significant number of sales here. Farpoint VR and Until Dawn Rush of Blood VR will be cut to £8.99, Arizona Sunshine, Astro Bot, Blood and Truth, Bravo Team VR, Everybody's Golf VR and Firewall VR to £16.99, and Marvel's Iron Man VR to £24.99.
