'Spider-Man: Miles Morales' Completionists Receive A Free Gift From Sony

It's the thought that counts, right?

Many of us are used to finishing a game and getting that satisfying little pop-up that tells us we've earned the final trophy right? Although trophies and achievements are just pixels on the screen telling us, "kid, yah did good" they can feel pretty special. All those hours we've played, dedicating our time to developing character arcs, collecting the biggest and best fish, and saving the world means something by the time you're done with the game. It looks like Insomniac knows this and wants to reward those who are true completionists with a little gift.

Spotted by GameRant, those who polish off every side-quest, collectable, and activity in Spider-Man: Mile Morales will eventually get an email from developer Insomniac to celebrate the achievement, even if the celebration is pretty small. You'll receive a code for the game, to redeem a new frame for photo mode which is pretty neat.

This red-lined frame is only available through completing all the tasks in Miles Morales but is really for those artsy players that spend all their time taking photos of Spidey and New York City. I mean come on, if you're going to give Spider-Man a camera, you might as well make him look great in every shot.

Although the gift isn't a big one by any means, it's nice for those who seek out achievements to get a little extra something other than one platinum notification. Especially when you need to complete the main story twice to officially complete the game.

Granted Spider-Man: Mile Morales isn't a huge title, it's more of a mini-sequel to Marvel's Spider-Man where Miles features as a side character, it's still a commitment to play a game twice when you could be playing so many other titles. Honestly getting through a backlog is a big deal, you know?
