New console means a new look, and thank goodness the PlayStation 5 store looks much better than the PlayStation 4's. The new look for the PlayStation store is easier to look for the games you want, and actually splits up content in a way that allows you to find the genre you want, the platform you want, upcoming games, and more in an easier fashion than the previous iteration.

It was only a little while ago that there was that reveal of the PlayStation 5's UI that kept trending on YouTube it was so gorgeous. We know Sony has spent the time trying to upgrade the look and feel of the console's base software so we're not shocked there is a new look to the store, but we're still pleased to see the change all the same.

Scrolling through to the PlayStation Store on the home page current see the landing page where Sony also admits it's pretty stoked to show you the new games on offer. "Welcome to the next generation. From the freshest releases to curated collections, there's something for everyone" it says before selecting some of the new releases you might to purchase and the hottest titles right now.

PSU has made a pretty handy video that can show you how the new store looks and how much neater it looks. Doesn't hurt that we prefer the dark mode feeling to the console rather than the bright blue it was before.

When looking for games that might appeal to you it has filters based on Price, Genre, Platform, Release Date, PlayStation VR, and Age Rating too, so parents can easily select games for kids that are suitable for their age range.

As PS5 units roll out across Europe, we can't wait to see how everyone likes the newest Sony console - it's sure to be another fantastic generation of games as we enter 2021.
