PlayStation, Xbox, and PC users can download the latest Crime Boss: Rockay City DLC for free for a limited time.

PlayStation, Xbox, and PC users can now grab the latest DLC for the Grand Theft Auto-inspired Crime Boss: Rockay City for free, but only for a limited time.

Crime Boss: Rockay City released to rather tepid reviews. It currently has a score of just 52 over on Metacritic, with a user score of 5.4. GGRecon wrote, “Crime Boss: Rockay City is a cautionary tale for how to effectively budget a video game, and a prime example of how games need to feel and play well first and foremost,” while The Gamer added, “Crime Boss is a game at war with itself. All three modes offer something, but none of them does their specific thing that well. Meanwhile, the characters and writing that surround these missions feel painfully stuck in 2011.” I’m imagining the game is lacking a long-term player base but if you are still hanging around, you may as well pick up the free Heavy Hitters DLC.

Take a look at our Crime Boss: Rockay City interview below.

The Heavy Hitters weapon pack is free for a limited time on all platforms. It introduces a baseball bat with nails, the SAM-AF1, Reaper’s Saw, Rufus, Rufus Short, and PDW. If you’re a PlayStation or Xbox user, you don’t actually need to own the game to grab the DLC, so you can nab it if you think you’ll pick up Crime Boss: Rockay City further down the line. Just head to either the PlayStation Store or Microsoft Store and search for the Heavy Hitters Pack.

If you’re a PC user, you will need to already own a copy of the game. Those who own Crime Boss: Rockay City can download the pack for free from the Epc Games Store. The pack is only free for a limited time. The only issue is, it hasn’t been revealed what this window of free eligibility is, so I’d act now if you do want to nab the DLC.

The weapons can be used in both Baker’s Battle and Crime Time modes.
